Subject to availability, The Little Things aims to ship all goods ordered by the customer within the same working days of receipt of payment. If, for any reason, we are unable to ship your order within this time we will contact you to make you aware of our difficulties and offer you alternative goods, amendment to your order or cancellation. Our standard delivery charge for mainland England, Scotland and Wales is £3.95 – This is for Royal Mail Tracked 48HR delivery.
For delivery outside this area, please contact us for a quote. Express delivery is also available. Place your order by 2pm and we can send it via Royal Mail 24hr Tracked so that you should receive it the next working day. There is a £5.95 cost for this service.
Personalised items can require up to 5 days before dispatch (if express delivery is selected your order will be sent by overnight courier once your order is complete). All delivery dates that we give are only for your guidance. We will not be responsible if your order is delivered late. If there is no one to accept delivery, information enabling you to complete the delivery will be left. Despatch of goods constitutes fulfilment of contract.
We want you to be totally satisfied with your goods. Therefore we are very happy to offer a full refund or an exchange if you change your mind (within 7 days of receipt). If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you can return the entire order to us for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification. You must contact us before sending items back, stating the order number and the reason you are intending to return the goods.
A “Restocking Fee” of 10% of the overall cost of a shipment may be applied on goods returned, in exceptional circumstances, due to any perceived fault of the customer (not checking bag sizes etc).
Unless you notify us within seven working days of receipt we are not obliged to accept a return of unwanted or incompatible goods. This does not affect your statutory rights. You must return goods to us complete with all relevant packaging and in a good condition at your own cost. To ensure goods reach us safely we advise you to use recorded delivery and arrange insurance against loss or damage. We cannot accept liability for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit. All refunds will be made within 30 days of us receiving notice of cancellation.
Damage in transit
We select all the gifts for our party bags by hand so that we can ensure that all of them are in perfect condition when they leave us. All our party bags are sent out in kit form so they arrive in the best condition. But, in the unlikely event that your party bags are damaged or are not as those requested, please contact us within 48 hours and return the bags to us in their original packaging. We will then give you an immediate exchange or a refund.
We accept all major credit/debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Switch/Maestro UK, Discover, Paypal Express Checkout and Solo. Pricing, Product Descriptions & Availability
All prices displayed on this website are in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of packing and delivery. One party bag consists of one set of contents as detailed in the text. Some individual items come in a variety of different designs which may differ slightly from that shown in the picture. We will select one at random and you may not receive the same item as illustrated. Our item descriptions always state this where applicable.
Where sizes of products are quoted these are only intended as a guide. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. All products shown on the website should be in stock. We keep a large quantity of stock so we can dispatch your chosen party bags to you straight away. In the unlikely event that items ordered are out of stock we will inform you by email or telephone offering you an alternative, a new delivery date or an opportunity to cancel the order.
We take safety issues very seriously. We only supply ‘toys’ which carry the CE mark and comply with European Safety Regulations. Many items such as stationery, jewellery, hair and fashion accessories are not classified as ‘toys’ and do not carry the CE mark. However, as some of these items may prove harmful to children under the age of 36 months, we only supply our party bags to children over this age.
In addition, the bags, tissue and gift tags are also not suitable for children under the age of 36 months. The Little Things does not accept liability for any injury, damage or loss that may occur due to our party bags having been given to anyone for whom they were unsuitable, as detailed above.
Any information you provide us so that we can fulfil your order is treated as confidential. We do not pass on or sell any information to third parties. We occasionally may send out mailings to notify you about important changes to our website, new services we may provide and special offers we think you’ll find valuable. If you do not wish to receive any of these mailings, please contact us.
These terms and conditions govern the sales and purchase of products from The Little Things, including www.thelittlethings.co.uk. The Little Things reserves the right to amend these terms and the customer is bound by any such modifications or revisions.
